information about my original universe, enchantarion :D

note: a lot of this is still a wip, please do not jugde my work too harshly. constructive criticism is welcome, but may be ignored if it points out something that was an intentional decision.

a flat world, broken up into five realms, and shaped like a compass kind of. The realms are separated by an Ice Wall, and in the corners where two of the outer realms meet there are bases where GUARDIANS live. The GUARDIANS make sure that nobody crosses the wall. Only the gods are allowed to visit other Realms, but they have to travel through the Otherworld.

GUARDIANS are really big and intimidating in their armor, but when out of it they’re really cute. They’re different elements, fire, water or air. And they use the armor to appear more scary and to be more physical.

originally the Five Realms were created by a single creator, but they only filled Earth with creatures. After they finished, they created five immortals to care for Earth, and then five for each Realm to care for and fill them. Then they left, satisfied with what they had done.

gods are also refferred to as godlings or children of the light by the mortals. They told the mortals to, but they don’t really know why they needed to, just that they did.

spelling for the word "enchantarion" varies, i put a in place of the o a lot. i cant remember which is the correct one anymore.

so im not sure if i exaplain this anywhere else, but each realm has a unique entrance to the otherworld. phrofroain's entrance is on the floating isles and housed inside of their main greek-styled building where they have their dorms and meeting room and stuff. earth's is in ireland, and they actually have several, in the form of sidhe mounds. faragorn's is in the underwater volcano in the center of the faran gods' little ring (theres a ring of underwater volcanoes surrounding one in the center and the gods have turned them into a home connected by the tunnels that the magma used to go through. idk a lot of the sciency stuff of underwater volcanoes so dont judge me if its super implausible or whatever, this is a fantasy world.). annnnd ive not figured out the other two :p.

btw the five realms are: earth, phofroain, anarian, faragorn, and wanderlands (also referred to as the wanderlands sometimes). every realm has a set of gods, usually its five tho phofroain has six for some reason. (hehe i know the in-universe reason hehehe but its supposed to be a big mystery). every realm also has the demons. working on a unique name for them for each realm, but as of right now, all i have is daebies for phofroain. anyways, the demons are able to make deals with people and the term "corrupted" is a universal term for someone who has made a deal with or worchips them. the gods are the ones who started using it btw, thats why its universal. anyways, when something says that the gods protect the realms from the demons, that means that they keep the Otherworld inaccessible to mortals and keep the demons from being able to get out.

helpful stuff that i have in some of the realm pages but are universal so im putting it here

immortals/gods--- the gods, basically. There to protect from daebies, also known as corrupted immortals, or demons on earth. They each have an animal origin, catrina is a goat and apollo is a fox, however finn having completely deer legs is unique to him, they usually have human limbs that transition near the end to match the animal. They are ‘marked’ as immortals with imp tails, instead of whatever tail their origin would have. They also each have a different amount of eyes, apollo having two is special.

demons/daebies--- FIRST OFF, the names will be changing depending on the realm, but so far ive only got phofroain's word for them done. anyways. they are banished to the otherworld. Theyre bringers of chaos, destruction, and overall not good things. Physically, theyre corrupted humans, which means they look like if you covered some rando in eyes, removed all their blood, forgot that they arent supposed to have tails, and the hands/feet look like if somebody drew a few loops on a piece of paper and called it good. their voices are staticy and garbled, their faces are mishapen and lopsided, they only color they posess is red, and their hair comes off their head in stringy squiggles that only faintly resembles the hair it originated. tl;dr: they look like messed up drawings of humans from memory, with a couple things added to make it more original.

btw if youve read the stuff on overswap you may notice that the surface is a modified version of the wanderlands. or not, thats fine. it is tho! i decided to set it in this realm bc 1) i wanted to 2)i really like this realm and dont have anything planned for it yet 3) to make my au more unique and 4) bc it would make potential crossovers with my ocs easier.
