this is the webpage dedicated to my "main" oc, Quinn! when i say main btw, i mean that she's the protagonist of the story and who i usually think of when i think about my goobers (other than apollo) :] she's actually one of the least drawn oc's i have for some reason??? wtf??? i lover her sm tho T^T anywayssss
also ignore how the big ass quinn leaning against the right side looks kinda weard at the edge its the paddings's fault.

general
quinn is a dumbass and we love her for it. anyways. she's a very reckless person, often opting to act over think, and thats usually the thing that causes issues with her friends (specifically andie). she kind and does her best to treat people how she believe they should be treated and to stand up for people, buuuttt shes not perfect. she also broke some loser out of jail bc she was taught to stand up for people and stuff... not smart but ok... anyways she tries her best to include people in the conversations she's having (especially if theyre introverted and not comfortable around new people yet, shell try and keep them from feeling left out). shes very quick to judge people's character and once shes made her judgement its not easy to change it. usually she tries her best to like people, but if she doenst like somebody, thats never gonna change. the one time it did was for violet and that ended poorly for her. shes way too trusting of nmost people. (note the word not being all) her bark is way worse than her bite tbh. im gonna be so fr, my ocs exist as vibes with faces and stories and i am so bad at explaining their personalities.. sorry. but yeah a nice extrovert who like helping people but is also stupid and also shes very motivated by justice and stuff.
her goals are pretty much to just firgure herself out, find her place in the world, enjoy life with her friends, and get answers about her bio family.

out-of universe history/different versions of quinn and her story
important note: this mayyyy contain spoilers for my novel, but theres a good chance that by the time i finish it, this stuff wont matter. read at your own risk.
quinn is my babyyyy <3 she is the first oc i ever made and even though i changed everything about her and made the og version of her into a new character named apollo i still will always say shes my firstbornn. im gonna be so fr, i originally created her for like... idkkk man, some weird elf-insert shit with herobrine??? when i was uhhh seven i think??? i dont remember how old i was exactly lol. and she was named after me (my necromym) and she was an elf. i think. i think id gotten over the fairy-princess-mermaid thing... idk tho she mightve started as that who knows. ok, i dont consider this to be part of her super cool backstory or anything, but there was a point in time where i wrote stories where i was a superhere and my brother was the villain (they were so baddd, i took kill em with kindness too litereally lol) so if i were to streacthhh it then quinn started off earlier as that... because it took a while to separate myself from her... soo.... ANYWAYS. Her original story (that i remember) was that she was a universe hopping elf (again she mayyy have been something else idk) who rescued this wolf pup named Lucky from a super evil poacher and also lived in a cabin in minecraft that was on a beack and she had a horse named Apples (i think). ill have to re-read what i wrote and update this later lol. this version of quinn existed for a reallllyyy long time and as it went on evolved from just me to me but super cool and with OP powers and kinda just existed as a really super epic me that traveled around and yelled at whatever fictionl characters i felt like yelling at that day.
the second incarnation of quinn was also just... me... and i dont think id renamed her yet? idk. she was still just a self insert tho lol. anyways, this was when i realised i wanted to be MORE serious about writing then i had been and that i didn't like what i had before, soo i ended up changing her to an elf who had been born in a different world to a human family. how did that work? well her grandmother (on her dad's side) was an elf who had ran off to this world to escape... something? i dont remember what it was right now lol. she had run off to this world and started a family BUT for some reason she did weird magic stuff to make sure that quinn's mom gave birth to a full-blood elf. then the story picks up with her chillin in the woods and she gets approached by this ugly ass old man (just kidding ily sylvan <3) who tells her that ACTUALLY she ISNT a human like shed thought shes an ELF and she needs to go with him to Starstreak (which, to this day, is still the name of her village) and she tells him bascially to fuck off but in a better way (i wanted to make sure it didnt look like she was stupid enough to get kidnapped, cmon) and then something something she goes with him anyways and he tells her all this stuff about how she ended up there and then she rescues Lucky and has to go defeat the bad guy who id named ender. (and only recently changed to Catrina lol) and i didnt really have that much plot for her story. if this sounds like the plot of keeper of the lost cities book 1 thats because everything about sophie foster being an elf in the forbidden cities was actually stolen from my brain psychicly by shannon messenger /j. seriously tho id never read those books before and when i did for the first time my mind was BLOWN bc that was litereally exactly what the very original version (not counting... the minecraft...) of quinns story was lol. insannee how me and shannon had the exact same ideas, im so glad i changed everything so drastically.
that iteration of my girl lasted for yearrss. she changed around 2021 or 2022 (i was either 13 or 14 iirc, couldve been earlier but idk man) so yeah. the third incarnation of quinn was an elf who was born in Starstreak to Marinda and Rayid. originally, marinda and rayid played a much bigger role in her story. they were scientists who had experimented on her to make her really powerful (or she was already abnormally strong and they were trying to figure it out? idk one of those two) but they were killed in an accident by quinn, who i thinkkk basically just got super overwhelmed/scared and didnt really notice who it was?? anyways so that happened and that day she found Lucky and decided, yknow what? imma redeem myself and raise this tiny wolf. btw she was nine when this happened. also she became suicidal bc of this. i think. idk she was really edgy and dark in this version. anyways then there would be a time-skip and she, lucky, and her bestie andie (who appeared in the second iteration btw) end up leaving starstreak for... adventure? something more important? idk. the plot was basically "then they leave and have to fight ender hehe". this version existed for a while too...
this next version was the same as the third EXCEPT instead of her parents doing experiments and getting killed, this is where i first made her Catrina's daughter, yayyyyyy :D. anyways this version of her was the child of the goddess of wrath, who had never been told, and learned it while on her journey. she and her friend andie end up leaving starstreak bc quinn's girlfriend violet breaks up with her and reveals that she was just doing it for the joke??? idk why??? quinn is an outcast in starstrak in every iteration but like.. idk man thats kinda weird. but yeah like popular girl going out with the loser nobody likes bc haha look at how gullible and stupid this loser is ig?? this is a trope i saw somewhere and though "yeah that fits violet" ... ANYWAYS quinn gets broken up with and at this point i wanted to do something cool and meaningful and show a character heal from being suicidal so quinn became suicidal... uhmmmm yeah idk man. so thats why quinn and andie left. in this version is i also got the idea to make them join some random rebellion in canton (but it wasnt called canton then i dont think it had a name) and while being in the rebellion quinn meets the cool epic freinds of hers, tiffran, laynia, and oliver. she also was gonna face misogeny. to be cool and feminist. anyways she ends up being captured as a war prisoner after going on a killing spree in a battle and while shes in prison she meets a guy named... aragorn bosphoromous potter (i HATE harry potter but younger me didnt know any better
anndd final version letss goooo :D very similar to the last one. except! physically, she has horns and a tail now and was raised believing that she was simply the product of some angry witch's curse. another major difference is she is NOT SUICIDAL. she loves her life!!!! anyways. she leaves starstreak not long after founder's day (a local holiday there) bc a stranger by name of Cipher appears and says "hey just fyi you're adopted and your biological mom is actually the goddess Catrina and also im your brother and ive been looking for you for a while" not in that order per se but ye. and she doesnt believe him at first but decides "hey im 16 (legally an adult for elves) i should travel the world anyways i might as well head off now and ask people about it" and she takes her beloved andie with her bc they are inseparable (but not a couple, just friends. a qpr) and they go off to canton and her it cipher's story is confirmed (it is a very well known story. turns out when you take a goddess's child she makes it everyone's problem. quinn is stupid for not going to sylvan but her being a dumbass is charming <3). theres a side plot thats not super relevant rn and then she ends up in grumbledeedock speaking with her older (note: no longer twin) brother alistran about this stuff bc she wants to know more. (for context: shes super obsessed with learning about her biological family bc in that culture knowing that stuff is suuuupppeeerrr important and emphasized) anyways after learning more she goes off to confront Catrina about i guess her dad? ive not firgured that bit out yet ;-; and thats it. (all i can share rn) btw her being violets ex is still canon but its effect was just for her not to want another relationship for now.
